it is a beautiful morning with the sun shining....... this is a grape vine which is very amazing because plant like this can thrive only in cool climate. that is moi walking to the park ...... i decide to shoot the grape vine and the herbs plants called sabah snake grass which the juice is drank by cancer patients to help their body self heal. this is close view of plant herbs sabah snake grass

man this is our singapore bus stop design....very buildable as they say in the construction industry oh this skinny trunk is of the jelutong plant this cafe serve breakfast and dinner. have sandwiches, big breakfast, yummy cakes, coffee and floral/fruit teas. some pretty flowers the cafe again..........opening hours here the history of this piece of land from 1800 to 2015 from the time when it was a village called chan chu kang ( mr chan was the head man of this village). chu kang are 'villages'. pepper and gambiers plants were planted in a nearby village called nee soon south. here oil palm trees were planted in the plantation. palm oil are produced after proccesing the huge bundle seeds from this trees. the oil are used for cooking.

beginning part of the beautiful bridge... it is a joy to walk on such a beautiful man made structure...... this is one fork of the river which flow through the nature park..... a river flow through the park and it fork near mandai road this is another raintree and here i called the heart of the nature park this place is good to do tai chi, stretching or qigong. ya even yoga he he.. follow the path onward is the bird watching area. no need go sungei buloh wetland park to do big time bird watching of migratory birds. birds migrate to singapore because the weather in their country is too cold during winter. the first settlers near this river are the orang seletar.

oh the actual first settlers are animals ie. tortoise called box terrapins and eel fish..... here is the hole in the road akin to the the same in sheffield, uk. the place where i always get lost when coming home from college. here is the other fork of the river running through the park watch out for where the river fork ie the y junction now i will shoot close view for you to see the small fishes. i have seen a couple big fat fishes too. of course , i think should have the box terrapin this is what singapore grass looks like ... this map near entrance to park show you the river in blue. the green rectangle patch is the old pal oil plantation which is now the springleaf nature park. now you can see some small trees

yeah now is almost time to go grab a late breakfast of fried bee hoon luncheon meat and cabbage...yummmy.. the bird nest fern nestled in trunks of this huge tree looks like yam leaves the majestic and grand old man the raintree the low rise shophouses pink and red boungainvella thanks for watching .....
