singapore is one of the busiest countriesin south east asia. it may look small on the map, but do notunderestimate this country because everything is concentrated here. and i have only 24 hours, so i've compiled a list of places to see, items to look at.
Bugis Street Singapore, and let me bring you on my journeyto enjoy uniquely singapore. getting around singapore is very convenientusing the mrt or lrt. the standard ticket can be usedfor six times, so keep it for a while. it is a must to taste chilli crabsor else do not leave singapore.
the plan is to actually have dinner todayat jumbo restaurant, which was recommended by a friend. it is said that they have the bestchilli crab in singapore. but unfortunately it is a saturdayand it is fully booked. it was just impossible to get a placeat this restaurant. so what i did instead was to buy thepaste from the restaurant. here i have the chilli crab pasteand this is their black pepper paste. hopefully i can cook something just asdelicious as the restaurant here. on the other hand i made a reservationat red house to try their chilli crabs.
so hopefully it is just as good. red house offers a great varietyof chinese dishes. the restaurant, which is closeto clarke quay, is large and the service was great. the waitress took time to answerall my questions. finally, i settled for the chilli crabwhich was so juicy. and just in case i got messy while eating,i had to use a bip. i also had kangkung belacan and steam fishwhich were equally amazing. after that, i took a stroll at clarke quaywhere all the clubs and bars are located.
as it was a saturday night, the wholeplace was crowded. and i was told that it goes on till 4in the morning. along the way i discovered a stall sellingice cream sandwich. priced only at 1 sgd you must try this. another fruit that i enjoy a lot isjack fruit, which is this fruit over here. it's slightly leathery, it's thickbut it's also sweet. it's delicious. best eaten when it's fried but i likeit raw or fresh like this. it's really, really yummy.
i haven't had all these fruits forabout two years, and finally situated in the middle of little india, this is one place you should go i'm standing right above the shoppes mall which is opposite the ever-magnificentmarina bay sands hotel. and i just realized that there is a bridgeconnecting these two buildings together. and you know what? who plays michael bublã© at the lift? it's just so romantic. the whole city isso beautiful, so vibrant. i love this city. i have nothing else to say.
i love singapore! also, do not forget to visitthe supertree grove. this is not like any gardeni've ever seen before. it looks really futuristic. you can also enjoy the view from the topas you walk along the bridge. being in a tropical country like singaporedoes not mean it is always sunny and nice. i wanted to go to chinatown.unfortunately it started raining. so i have no choice but to just stay indoors and then i found this coffee storecalled trung nguyen.
it serves vietnamese coffee. it's actuallyknown to be the starbucks of vietnam. i have a cup here. the actual coffee isonly half a cup. and this vietnamese coffee has different levels, from level one to level five. i took level three because i normallydrink latte macchiato. it's not that strong. european coffee wouldbe at the same level with level four. she added vietnamese condensed milkto the coffee. it's very delicious, very fragrant.it has a bit of a caramel taste. so something like coffee with caramel. if you have nothing else to do,
or when it is raining you can alwaysstop by to try the coffee. it's a good decision to have coffee here. a food court is what i miss in germany but this i found in bugis junction. i made a stop at old chang keefor a curry puff before continuing my journeyto more food. that was all the time i had for singapore. i hope to return again, and next time,i will surely stay for more than 24 hours. my next holiday spot is seoul, korea.
so subscribe and give a thumbs upif you want to watch more. i see you in the next video. bye!
